1. INTRODUCTION
Welcome to She Rises – Retreats for Her (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using this website (“Site”) or booking a retreat through it, you (“you”, “participant”, “client”) agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”).
Our aim is always to communicate clearly, kindly and transparently so you feel supported in every step of the process.
2. ELIGIBILITY
To use this Site or book a retreat, you must be over 18 and able to enter a legal contract.
We reserve the right to decline bookings at our discretion, but only when necessary for safety, wellbeing, or group suitability.
3. WEBSITE INFORMATION
We do our best to keep retreat details updated and accurate. Retreat content, pricing and availability may change from time to time.
If something changes, we will always communicate with you as soon as reasonably possible.
4. RETREAT BOOKINGS & PAYMENTS
4.1 Deposit
A deposit is required to secure your place.
- You may receive a full refund of your deposit if you cancel within 48 hours of booking.
- After 48 hours, deposits are non-refundable, as they cover initial administration and booking costs.
4.2 Payment Plans
If offered, payment plans must be completed on schedule.
Late or missed payments may result in your place being released.
4.3 Full Payment Deadline
All balances must be paid by the stated date. If not received, your spot may be cancelled and the deposit retained.
5. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
5.1 If You Cancel
We understand that life happens. With that in mind, our refund policy is:
- Cancel within 48 hours of booking → Full refund including deposit
- Cancel 30+ days before retreat start → 50% refund (excluding deposit)
- Cancel within 30 days of retreat start → No refund
However, we aim to be fair and flexible.
If you cancel 30+ days before the retreat, you may choose one of the following instead of a partial refund:
- Defer your booking to a future retreat date, subject to availability
- Transfer your place to another person, with our approval
No refunds are provided for:
- Travel delays
- Early departure
- Missed sessions
- Change of mind
- Personal schedule changes
5.2 If we cancel
If we must cancel (excluding force majeure events), you will receive:
- A full refund of all payments including the deposit, OR
- A credit to use for a future retreat—your choice
We are not responsible for additional costs (flights, visas, accommodation, insurance, etc.).
5.3 Force Majeure
If an event outside our control impacts the retreat (e.g., natural disasters, illness outbreaks, extreme weather, government restrictions, etc.), refunds are not offered.
Instead, we will transfer your booking to another retreat date.
6. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS & INSURANCE
You are responsible for your own:
- Passport
- Visas
- Health declarations
- Travel and medical insurance
We highly recommend comprehensive travel insurance to protect your investment.
7. WELLBEING, HEALTH & SAFETY
We want every woman to feel held, supported, and safe.
By joining the retreat, you confirm that:
- You are responsible for your own health needs
- You will seek medical advice if unsure about your ability to participate
- You join all activities voluntarily
Our retreats are not medical, therapeutic, or psychological treatment. While we aim to create a healing space, we cannot predict or manage personal triggers or emotional responses.
You must let us know of any allergies, medical conditions, or specific needs so we can support you.
8. PARTICIPANT BEHAVIOUR
We expect all participants to act respectfully toward each other and the retreat environment.
We reserve the right to remove anyone behaving disruptively or unsafely.
Refunds will not be issued in such cases.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY (Soft tone, firm protection)
We take your wellbeing seriously, and we create safe, thoughtful experiences.
However, to comply with legal requirements, we must clarify that we cannot be held responsible for:
- Accidents, injuries, or medical conditions
- Loss of belongings
- Travel delays or disruptions
- Emotional responses to retreat content
- Acts or omissions of third-party providers
Your total remedy for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the retreat (excluding the deposit, unless cancelled within 48 hours of booking).
10. ITINERARY CHANGES
Sometimes plans must shift due to weather, availability, or other practical considerations.
We may modify the schedule or activities when needed, but we will always aim to keep the experience aligned with the retreat’s intention.
These changes do not provide grounds for refunds.
11. ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation details are confirmed at booking.
If changes or upgrades become necessary, we will notify you and ensure that the alternative provided is of equal or higher quality where possible.
12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All retreat content, meditations, exercises, branding, and website material belong to She Rises – Retreats for Her.
You agree not to copy, share, or repurpose these materials without permission.
13. MEDIA, PHOTOS & TESTIMONIALS
We may take photos or videos during the retreat for marketing purposes.
If you prefer not to be included, simply let us know in writing before the retreat begins.
You may not record other participants without their consent.
14. PRIVACY POLICY
We respect your privacy completely.
Any personal information you share is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and will never be sold.
15. WEBSITE USE
You agree not to misuse the Site or attempt to interfere with its functionality.
We may restrict access if misuse occurs.
16. THIRD-PARTY LINKS
We are not responsible for external websites or services linked on our Site.
17. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Insert Country/State].
Any disputes will be handled within that jurisdiction.
18. UPDATES TO TERMS
We may update these Terms at any time.
Continued use of the Site or purchase of a retreat indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
